In today’s world, your enterprise customers are looking harder than ever at their bottom line and trying to reduce their costs. Some of them may decide to save money by using Ethernet instead of leased lines for access, and by moving from MPLS virtual private networks (VPNs) into the shared infrastructure of the internet.

But that can mean trading away class of service (CoS), quality of service (QoS) and security.  And you know they need to keep the reliability and consistent performance that they’ve come to expect as users of VPNs.

Here’s good news for you as a service provider:

With the BT Connect Applications Performance Management portfolio you can offer your customers the solutions they need to maintain the levels of service required for their applications, whether

  • across a single network or multiple networks,
  • and, on private networks, public networks or a combination.

You can even help your customers to improve the QoS and security of their applications while they cut their costs.

We developed Connect Applications for our enterprise customers because they want:

  • to see how their key business applications are performing,
  • to control how their network is used so they can lower costs and reduce the frequency of upgrades which allows them to speed the return on their application and network investments,
  • and, they want to ensure their users get a consistent experience

And now we’re offering the Applications Performance Management portfolio to you to pass on to your customers.

It’ll be especially useful for the ones who use data-hungry and performance-sensitive services like Unified Communications (UCC), voice over IP, video conferencing and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) mobile communications.  And cloud applications like Office365, Salesforce.com, and other SaaS applications.

As more and more of your customers migrate to cloud-based services, products like Connect Applications and Connect Optimisation can help them become more competitive while maintaining and even raising service quality.

The BT Connect Applications Performance Management  portfolio gives them full visibility and control over their usage and performance:

  • Guaranteed performance of business-critical applications 100% of the time, with end-to-end performance control and visibility of multiple  networks
  • Visibility of the performance on their websites and comparison with performance on their competitors’ websites
  • Prioritisation of private and public internet traffic.
  • Ability to postpone network upgrades for up to three years by reducing the volume of their WAN traffic
  • 50% reduction in the number of network-congestion incidents
  • Faster mean time to repair, reducing troubleshooting time by 66%

Within that portfolio, you’ll find:

  • Connect Acceleration to reduce the volume and speed up the traffic of your customers’ enterprise, web, SaaS and mobile applications
  • Connect Intelligence (CI) to provide visibility of their application traffic at the network and transaction levels, on the network and at the server.  It gives your customers the information and analysis they need to ensure their applications are performing properly.  CI offers them synthetic testing to determine how a new application will perform before rolling it out.  And they can use it to find out why their website is slow and optimise its performance.
  • Connect Optimisation to prioritise customers’ most important applications and guarantee their performance end to end via a smart network.  They can manage offload of traffic between WAN and internet networks and control the application performance on each.

We created the video “Intelligent network solutions to connect your organisation” to present Applications Performance Management to our enterprise customers.  Watch it to see what it can offer to yours.
